- Yes it sounds like Monte Testaccio area would be what you are looking for (the party) Trastevere also is full of young people on the weekends kinda funkier. I also enjoyed myself in the bars around Campo de Fiori.
- both campo de fiori and trastevere are where I spent my time. trastevere catered towards more locals. campo had more tourists. both were great.
