Has there been any recent problems or negative issues associated with Venice, Italy?

- Just the cost that I know of I found it better to stay outside of the city
- i'm italian, i live in Milan...but my sister has recently been in Venice for sport (she plays basketball).....She hasn't had any problem.....it was all good.... why are u coming to italy?? ciao ary
- The only problem is now is forbidden to give food to pigeons (they're trying down pigeon's population, since somebody feel it as a problem for the city). Apart from that, no, no problem at all apart Venice is definitely not the cheapest city in Italy.
