Which country do you think best and safe to visit for a single woman traveler? Greece or Italy? for a 10 days vacation. Which countries is the best and safe to visit for a single woman traveler? Greece or Italy? for a 10 days vacation. I am from Jakarta Indonesia and I've been to Milan 10 years ago with my parents.

1. Both Italy an Greece are safe Countries, as long as you follow common sense, of course; perhaps, for a comparison, you should tell where are you from or in which Countries you've been before and how you consider them.
2. They're very similar in mentality, high tourism rates and overall status, so there's not much difference for a single woman traveller. Both countries are traditional and at the same time open because of the huge tourist influx, and it only depends on your personal preference which one you'll choose. Apply ordinary measures of precaution which you would if you were travelling in your own country away from home, and you'll be fine.
3. I would have felt safer if I knew the language...stay out of Naples.
