Why Italy

learn italian quickly?

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to learn enough italian in 2 weeks to get around Rome? Or does anyone who speaks italian want to email or im with me in italian? So that maybe i can learn a little bit more...

1. There are a few tourist Italian websites around, so have a look for them. Also, Italian is quite easy if you already know a Romance language, eg French, Spanish. Make sure you've got a phrase book on you, it'll be invaluable, and after two weeks you'll definitely pick up a lot just from being there.
2. Get an Italian boyfriend and you will be speaking Italiano in no time at all!
3. If you know any of the Romance languages, (French, Spanish) then some of the words are the same. The Rosetta Stone program (you can buy it at any electronic store) can teach you a language in a short amount of time...
4. Well there are some online things that you can do, try watching Italian tv shows, they could help you abit. Or find a friend, relative or someone else that speaks it and that can help you out. p.s. crowbird... lmao..I got me one of those... but I already knew Italian so....
