- "arrivederci"
- The expression 'arrivederci' is is derived from the basic verb 'vedere' meaning to see, prefixed with a for 'at' or 'to' or 'till' plus 'ci' for 'us'. Till we see each other again is the real meaning. This is exactly the same meaning as 'au revoir' in French and 'Auf widersehen' in German So splitting into arriva derchi is wrong. Also, the combo of 'chi' in Italian takes a hard c, pronounced like 'key'
- you are
- Arrivederci, of course!
- I'm italian and I say you that....arrivederci is right.....hi...on the contrary....arrivederci....ciao.....
- Arrivederci.
