- what about men's room and board?
- I would go go south...I would recommend you buying a book of language before you leave. Yes they love Americans, you also can find a place at a decent rate with all included. depends on what you want. I would do some searching on here before you take off. PS good luck
- I'm not too sure about the room and board. I was in Italy for a bit. I even stayed with a family. They were very nice to me and most of the people I met who dealt with tourists and such knew English. They really seem to respond well to someone who at least attempts to speak in Italian. I only knew hello, good-bye, excuse me, please and thank you. I really made my host family happy by trying to speak Italian.
