Why Italy

Has anyone traveled with EF student tours before? Is it worth the money?

My best friend and I are considering going to our very first trip to Europe. We are fluent in Spanish, and I have a decent grasp on Italian, so we decided to go on the 'Mediterranean Journey" tour, which is a 9-day trip to Italy and Spain. Has anyone every traveled with EF tours before, or know where I can get a good, comprehensive review of their services? Thanks in advance!

  1. my daughter did, and totally loved it. id say its worth the money, you may never get the chance again.
  2. I have a couple of years ago. It was really fun, especially since you have company. Totally worth your money for it, and you get a great experience of the Mediterranean with them.
  3. There is a poster around here who promotes EF like they pay him for it. Look for his posts in the "discover answered questions" section. Maybe you can email him/her. I personally would not go with EF, since the best test to and training of your knowledge of a language comes from using it when you travel on your own with nothing but a decent guidebook (Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, Let's Go) for company.
  4. Travelwith EF college break, its way better. Same company, just different program slightly. I mean I really enjoyed my ef tour when i took it, but ef college break is way better, and they give you more free time to explore. Its for ppl ages18-26 though, i don't know if you fit in that category. But after traveling both, i would definately travel ef college break. And i have a promo code for ef college break if you choose to use them it is hesseln1188, and it saves you like an extra $100. Either way though, it is great tht you will get to travel, and knowing the language realy helps. If you don' tfit the age range for the college break one, by all means go on the ef one. I really enjoyed it, and its nice to know that you are safe. Good luck, and happy travels!
