Why Italy

My friends and I are going to england in may.We would like to know of any rail tours to france italy and spain

We were thinking of leaving from manchester or london on May 1st and spending a maximum of two weeks on the tour. If this time is not available, we don't mind going at any time in May. We would like to travel by rail, have an escorted tour, and go to france (paris), italy and spain. If going to all these locations is not possible, we would like to go at least to Paris. We have a budget of a $1000 canadian at most for the tour (that's why we didn't want to travel on the tour by plane, we figured rail would be cheaper). Thanks

  1. Maybe check out ef college break if you are 18-26. If it works, i also have a promo code for them, it is hesseln1188 and it saves you like an extra $100. if not, try getting a euro rail pass, and just google tours and the city nameand im sure you will get a lot of sites. Also, if you are going on the cheap, definatly use the metro system. Reasonably priced and it covers alot of area.
  2. First time in England? Because your dollars wont last very long, the dollar is weak as hell compared to the pound & euro, also train travel is expensive in the UK very expensive. Best thing to do is book a ryanair flight form England to Paris will be cheaper than the Ferry, either that or use national express coaches they are much cheaper. From Paris the trains are much cheaper but to travel through three countries will cost more than $1000 unless you plan on sleeping rough. But remember everything is twice as expensive as Canada and you money is worth half as much. =) Hope this helps
