what are the best travel guide books?
I'm 17 yrs old and I'm going on my first trip to england, france, and italy with my younger cousin who's 16 for a month...no adults...and i need as much helpful info that I can get my hands on to be well prepared and have the most amazing experience =) I was doing some research and there are soo many books out there and I'm not sure which ones to get.. I'm spending about 17 days in england, 6 days in france, and 6 days in italy

- lonley planet or discovery have fun!!
- My bible was the "Let's Go.." books - put together by Harvard students who travelled cheaply and compiled all their tips, best places to see, stay etc. into it. Worth investing in it either for a particular country or combined, i.e: Europe. Int'l Student ID card and YHA card will get you discounts into lots of places in Europe, even the movies (matinees).
