Amsterdam and Italy travel plans...?
I am travelling from Canada to Amsterdam and Italy. I want to stay a week in each place. What is the best way to get from Amsterdam to Italy. (i heard it was the train) And does anyone know the best part to visit in Italy. (with only a week we won't have time for too much) What is the best time of year to travel to these places. I was thinking of the fall. (to avoid most other tourists)??

- If you are a Christian, the best place to visit in Italy would be Rome, the home of the Pope. And you heard right, the train is the absolute best way to get around. The best time of the year in my own opinion would be Easter because that's when the Vatican is really in action. IF you are looking to avoid other tourists, go either in Winter or in Summer. Summer would be the very best time. Good luck.
