Why Italy

should i study in venice or in siena, italy?

i want to study abroad in italy, and my only 2 choices are either venice or italy at my university. I want to study there for a whole academic year. My major is Art History. I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of art history courses they have at either city. which city would be better? were the courses any good? how do you enroll (since the exchange program has no idea how this done and even what courses are held in italy)? how much is accomadation and food? did you know where you were going to stay when you arrived? is there any way to contact the university to plan for accomadations? or does your university plan that for you (the accomadation)? were there any problems that you encounter? how much was the entire trip? how was your overall experience?
