2. its not at all difficult...a very romantic sounding language..and each to their own, but personally I think its way more sensual sounding than Spanish (which always sounds a little harsher than Italian to my ears)....very easy to learn, especially as an English speaker, if you have learned a little French, it will stand you in good stead....Arrivederci
3. I was engaged to an Italian man a long time ago and I went to stay with his family for 3 weeks. When they were talking it always sounded like they were having an arguement....lol they probably were!
4. Piacere! No sono inglese, sono gallese. I think Italian is a lovely language and would like to learn it. I am learning Portuguese and unfortunately the two verbs for 'to be' in Italian get me mixed up with 'ser' and 'estar' in Portuguese. After my Portuguese has improved, I may move on to Italian.
5. You can use the same adjectives you use to describe French and Spanish to describe Italian because they are all Romance languages with their roots in Latin. It is a very beautiful language, very artistic and seductive; and it is easy to fall in love with it and its country. 7. Ciao! Come stai? Yeah I think that Italian is great. I'm really horrible at the language but would love to speak it fluently one day. At times it is a little difficult for me though. Mostly because I already speak Spanish, am learning Portuguese, and have studied French before in the past. With all of these languages having so many similarities it's really easy for me to accidentally spell a word in Spanish instead or to throw in a French pronunciation while trying to speak Italian. By still I like the langauge a lot. Arrivaderci amica!

10. Io adoro l'italiano. Lo studio da 5 anni e vivo a Roma da 2 anni e mezzo ormai... Quindi penso che me la cavo un po... Sono arrivata a Roma x fare l'Erasmus e sono rimasta la xk mi sono innamorata della citta, della lingua, della gente e molto specialmente di un italiano ;-)
