Why Italy
anyone know how to plan backpacking to europe?
i want to departure frm malaysia or s'pore. where to buy the cheap air ticket or any gd travel agent introduce. when is the best month to go? i like to go italy, france,belgium n uk is that a gd plan? or any suggestion or better way. please provide useful webside or information. thank you!

- get a 2007 guide book like frommers europe edition. it has maps and places to see, eat, stay. they will recommend you to get eurorail pass for the duration of your trip, as well as travellers checks. but these days, having a good VISA and access to ATMs help reduce the amt of cash you need to carry on your person. best month is may (late spring), as summer is crowded, thanks to summer hols. forget agents. go get your tics from the internet. lots of airline offer good prices on sites like www.zuji.com. they will deliver tic to your phone, or else give you e-ticket you can print and show at the airport check-in counter. in the order of travel, it makes sense to do uk either first or last, but because uk is coldest, you might want to end there (when your trip is ending closer to june and warmer). but if you want to feel the cool spring air, then go uk first. if you go uk first, then it makes sense to hit france next (assume you are going paris, not nice/southern france), followed by belgium then down to italy. reverse the order if you prefer a warmer uk ps. if i ever go europe, i will make a stop at the disney castle in germany.
