Ten Day Tour of Italy in April - Advice?
I'm spending ten days in Rome & southern Italy (Naples, Sorrento, Taormina, etc.) with a student tour group in mid-April. What should I make sure to bring with me, especially for the weather during that time of year? Are there any items that would be useful that you wouldn't normally think of bringing with you? I'm looking to travel light, seeing as we're going to be moving from place to place, so any suggestions for packing would be great as well.

- Expect rain: that season can also be quite chilly. I have been in Rome during that time-frame and worn both a wool coat and a short-sleeved shirt (not at the same time, of course!)
