Public Comments
- era pieno di sole
- era pieno di sole
- aveva sole - it had done it was sunny - era luminoso
- aveva sole means " it had sun / sun had " so it means that he / she gives a positive answer to your question that you had asked " yes it is "
- Most of the previous answers were done with a translator website. Except Suga " Great Job " Aveva ..... comes from the verb avere = to have ..... In this case Aveva sole , is correct because you are saying ' It had Sun " literaly. You could also say, l'altro giorno era assolato (the other day it was sunny), notice the "sol" in the middle of the word. Someone that you know = qualcuno che conosci ... I think you wanted to say "Hai incontrato " meaning " you met " but when using " incontrare " it usually is used as " to meet " in general. Where as Conoscere = to become aquainted with/ to know about a person or place/ to know a person. Are you studying Italian?
- Ok the 1st one would be: It was sunny - C'era il sole The second phrase is correct, hai incontrato qualcuno che conosci?
- It was sunny = Era soleggiato or C'era il sole (colloquial) Hai incontrato qualcuno che conosci? "Someone you know" is exactly "qualcuno che conosci" assolato is an adjective for somthing exposed to a really hot sun during summer. Soleggiato is used in winter, spring and autumn
