questions about italy?
some questions about italy: are their houses communal or single-family dwellings? where (what rooms) do they sleep and eat? what materials are used in building a house? how are buldings made, and who makes them? to what building would poeple go to for health care? where would people who have broken a law be sent? basically anything you can tell me bout their living conditions would be great. also, if you know any good websites, please share them. thanks!

- it depends on the part of italy you go to. they sleep all the time together the houses are really old and they are passed down from generation to generation so they are never really on the market
- In towns Italians live mostly in condominium flats. It's very, very rare to have a detached house. They sleep in a bedroom (camera da letto), and eat in the kitchen (cucina) or, if the house is bigger, in the dining room (sala da pranzo). If you have a very little house you can eat and sleep in the same room. Houses are built in brick or concrete. In Italy there are NOT houses built using wood. Like everywhere, Italians go to hospitals (ospedali) for health care, and in prisons (prigioni) if they break a law.
