how do I get a Hispanic/Latina woman to take interest in me?
I am 93% French-Am. and 7% Cherokee. I have been said to look like someone from the Mediterranean, Tagiki, Iranian, Italian, etc. I do not identify myself with White America (not that there is anything wrong with them, the women just don't interest me personality-wise). I am classified by the US census as white-non-Hispanic. Hispanic women drive me crazy to see them. But in Texas and So. Florida, I can't get eye contact. I've dated a woman from Spain and had a wonderful relationship, we still email. I am tall, dark, and handsome, confident, but not cocky, dress nicely and always clean. I am considerate, well mannered, and socially outgoing. I talk to women all the time, but friendly and not like an @$$. Many Hisp. women much older than me always tell me I need una novia Latina, but I feel like they think I am un pinche gringo. I'm studying Spanish just to prove I have interest in the culture. I cannot keep my eyes off them, but they won't give me the time of day. ¿Ayudame? Ok, so the question is, if Hispanic women do not give me the time of day, but white women do, how do I get a Hispanic woman to take interest in me, and throw out all the hypothetical cultural differences? No one has answered my question, the question is "How do I get a Hispanic/Latina woman to take interest in me?"

- It seems that you have been running into a lot of women who are so caught up in their stereotype for what a "man" of their culture should be, that they don't even know HOW to see a good man standing right in front of them. Those aren't the women you want. Keep trying. Eventually you'll run into one that you cannot keep your eyes off of who DOES look you back in the eye and maybe even smiles at you. You'll know what to do then. Good luck!
- it may not be you, it may be that some of the women you approach aren't interested for their own reasons, which would be true of any type of woman. people always ask that "what can i do to get him/her to like me" question. if a person is interested, you'll know.
- If you are a gentleman (open the door of the car, pull out the chair)all the time I'm pretty sure you will have any girl you want, not only latinas like those things ALL girls do.
- Go to a Spanish speaking country, immerse yourself in their culture, do what you like to there like work or volunteering, favorite hobby, that way you will meet someone that has your interests and not just looking at you on the outside. If you don't want to go to a Spanish speaking country, go places where a lot of hispanic people are in your state, like a spanish church, the one church around us has a lot of activities in the hispanic community for fun and you can make a lot of friends that way. Honestly, the people that go to alot of the spanish church activities aren't religious, and there are many boyfriends/ girlfriends that are not spanish speaking. Another thing, ask the lady out for lunch or coffee, compliment them a lot, and don't talk about yourself too much, ask about her half the time, w/o getting too personal on a first date, have fun, that's important.
