How does it feel to be mixed?

I want to be mulatto (half white and half black). i wish i was that. You could date a white dude and a black dude. You could rock out with the white folks and listen to hip hop with the brothas and the sistas. It's like two cultures put together. I wish I was Italian and Nigerian. I could enjoy both cultures. If you are mixed, tell how it feels? In addition, being mixed gives you a broaders perspective on life.

2. I just asked my nine year old what it feels like to be half white and half Peruvian (hispanic). She said "it feels fine". Kids make things pretty simple. lol When she was younger and wanted to know why her skin was darker than mine, it was a little rough for her. But I explained to her that her olive color is beautiful, and it doesn't burn like mommy's! Now she loves her color and she's beautiful.
3. i am half German and half Black! There is no certain way to feel. U are white i take it....no offense...anyways, there is nothing wrong with being who u r..and just because someone is mixed does not mean they can date or look good next to another person...just be comfortable with the way u r...looks arent everything...in fact, it shouldn't mean a thing..what's more important is what's on the inside!!!
4. Great. I'm more accepted and I can relate to different people. Let's just say that I'm more mixed than a blended smoothie. I have a looong family background.

I've been mixed my whole life so it's hard to compare it to anything else, but I've been enjoying it so far... 4.) Most of the "struggles" I feel are from people like the girl above...Ignorant comments, misguided stereotypes...
7. How does it feel to be mixed? Honestly, I feel like any other person on the street. It isn't glamous if that's what you think. There was a time when being mixed was frowned upon as a mistake. Now a days it's common to find mixtures of ethnicities.

10. Seriously, the only person that is keeping you from doing those things is yourself. I dont think you really only wanna hang around people of your race, that would bekind of scary, they'd probably be racist and everything! love who your are, if you dont, why should anyone else?
