Why Italy

Gay bashers, haters, generally people that do not understand?

If you are informed by your church, family and society in general that you are not permitted to date outside your race, culture or nationality, would you do so? In other words, would you stop dating a German, Italian or other nationality if you were Irish? Are you going to permit society in general dictate to you whom you should and should not date? The God I was raised to believe in will accept me for whomever I marry or date as long as I accept God and his son into my life as my personal savior. Another key point. My God also expects me to RESPECT my fellow man's opinions regardless if I agree with them or not. And one more thing......being gay/bi is not about the sex in case you were wondering.

  1. I understand that two guys srcewing each other in the butt is nasty.
  2. I like where you were going with that, but wouldn't it be even more admirable if your God were as accepting of people's natural differences of faith as we should be of people's cultures? Wouldn't a truly loving God cherish good and giving non-Christians, too?
  3. I agree with you and your point is well said. I have to wonder if man kind was being tested to see who are the people who hate.
  4. you can justify it to yourself any way you want but it's still not natural
  5. You're right in that Christianity is not based on one's sexual orientation. However, the Bible states quite a few times that homosexuality is sinful and against God's plan. Take, for example, the city of Sodom in Genesis 19. It is implied that the men of Sodom were homosexual, and that was part of the city's wickedness. In Leviticus 18:22, the Law states, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detesable." Now some might say that since Christ, we no longer live under the Law, and they're right. But do you think God has changed His mind since He wrote the Law? I doubt it. He still thinks it's wrong. But that doesn't give anyone a right to hate homosexuals. They are people, and as such are loved by God. I think that some Christians today are very much "gay-haters." Others, however, do try and show the love of Christ to the gay community, only to be harshly rejected. I think the "Don't Hate!" mantra needs to work both ways.
  6. www.godmademegay.com No other real answer here, just want to post this site to show all the people that say it is against the bible. Try doing some research in something that isn't polluted by people's translations.
  7. great question! of course, I'm sure the "thumpers" will jump all over that, as I've already seen with a few of the responses, here. it IS on par with rasim! hatred of people because they are different is wrong! whether it's race, religion, sexual orientation, culture, age, looks, weight. haters have all kinds of reasons for hating others. and, when I was growing up and going to church/sunday school, I was always taught to love and respect others. God created and loves us all, and if he didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any. and that applies to non-Christians as well. hatred is not a family nor a Christian value...hating in the name of God is evil! God is love, and I love my fellow humans, no matter who they are. the haters, on the other hand, will be surprised when their judgment day comes.
  8. People have no right to say what God would find abnormal, because I'm pretty sure he'd find baseless hatred pretty damn stupid. The sad thing is hatred is actually NORMAL for people, oh my god it makes me so sick sometimes. I can feel the chemicals in my brain making me mad it drives me insane.
  9. well said...I was brought up to find my own happiness in life..that it was my responsibility..nobody will tell me who I can and cannot love.
  10. Read Genesis. It states clearly that homosexuality is a sin. If you're gay and then claim to be a christian, THAT is worse than being gay and trying to refute what the Bible says. Anyway, the Bible teaches to love the sinner, hate the sin. Speaking on the purest bilogical level, people are NOT supposed to be gay. For the sake of continuing the species, a man is supposed to be programmed to want to have sex with a woman, and a woman is supposed to be programmed to want to have sex with a man. If someone TRULY is gay, genetically, then we need to treat him not with the same rights as a straight person (he/she shouldn't). We're supposed to recognize that the person has a problem, and that it's up to us to get him/her back on track. Same with christianity. Christians see a world full of sin, and it's supposed to be their mission in life to see to it that they see the light and accept Christ into their lives.
