Why Italy
Not sure on my dating situation?
I have been dating this guy for almost 2 years. Problem is that for the past year and 3 months it has been long distance. Before he left, we were together 4 months and i'd see him basically everyday. We said i love you. It's been difficult since he's been gone. The first time he was gone 3 months, then he came home and his family/friends seemed to come first over me. He left without saying bye to me. He called saying I love you, i'm sorry for how i treated you when i was home, please forgive me. We kept in touch, not everyday, and i admit i saw other people. He came home in december, did the same thing to me,then he got back to where he was, called me saying how sorry he was, loves me, wants to be with me forever. i'm going to visit him in italy in about 2 weeks,i still feel like he doesnt make enough time for me,yet i feel head over heels for him,think about him ALL the time! He keeps saying he loves me,how do i know what to believe? Is he for real...or just wants to keep me around? anyone have any thoughts?

- This kind of advice I usually give to guys, but since you're making a trip to Italy... here it goes: *Confront him directly. I know girls are shy and lack courage, but... confront him! Tell him like 'You've told me all those things, I don't know what to do... I'd like to believe they were true, but if they are not please tell me so, if you feel nothing for me just let me know so I can go on with my life' - Learn this by heart and recite it to him like a poem if it seems that hard. Even I, if I played around with a girl (which I never do:) would come clean (tell her the truth) if she told me something like that. Plus you'll be able to move on after that or, who knows, maybe he ACTUALLY HAS those feelings for you...
