Question for Black Men who have dated White Women...?
I am white (Italian) female and have dated a few black men and it just seems like when things start to get serious or feelings may start to develop, they never want to pursue the relationship much further. I often wonder if it's maybe because I'm "white", they look at me as someone okay to mess around with but actually committing to me makes them nervous. They say they are open to the whole interracial thing...but I'm starting to wonder. Are there any black men out there (preferably in their 30's) who have perhaps been in this situation and any thoughts?

- probably not you unless you were being overly pushy about the situation. most black men, eventhough they wont admit it, still consider interracial a little taboo. we still kinda a small issue of how society sees us even down to our own race. takes a minute for us to really get past that and understand that it ok for a black man to be seen with a white woman, no matter how many ignorant people voice their opinion.
- who cares, why would you want all that nonsense anyway. all that bull**** about white guys not being good in bed is ridiculous. and outside of that i cant think of one good reason why a man being black makes him a better potential mate. may as well start refering to yourself as "baby momma" right now. women like you are the shame of the white community.
- I'm not in my 30s but i know the answer to your question.the answer is yes it is because your white not saying its something wrong with that because it isn't.me personally only date white or Spanish women.the reason why the men you date back down from the relationship when you wanna take the next step is because in reality they are a Lil ashamed to be seen with you by there family and black friends as your man.its ok to be your friend but not your man.but were all not like that if my friends and family dont like you because of your skin than thats there problem.you need a real man no matter the color of his skin.and yes im 100%black and if you dont belive it just click on my 360
