why do people think black women are jealous of black men dating white women?

im a 20yr old black female and wonder why people always seem to think black women are jealous of black men dating white women there are some that do but alot of us dont care cause there are alot of black men that do not interracially date even though there are alot that do i have never dated a black man i live in a mostly white town went to mostly white schools and that just how it happened am i am tired of black girls saying im half white or im trying to be white im proud to be black but im proud of who i am and how i talk and act it doesnt bother me to see a black man with a non black woman but i have gotten stares and giggles by mostly blacks when im seen with a white guy to the point where i dont even like going to certain parts of town with them and i have had white girls throw themselves at my boyfriends i believe because im black i do not care who dates who i just want people to stay out of my business now im talking to a italian guy

5. um, you answered your own question. You dont live in an all black area. I answered your other question earlier. The problems with race are a little outside of your grasp right now. Not all black women have a problem with a blackman with a white woman. But the ones that do, still have reason. I was dating a white woman, for a few years. And the problems aren't from 1 angle, it's from all sides. The black woman knows 2 things, I wont be accepted by her "people" and she wont be "fully" accepted in vise versa. My x-girlfriends parents told her that she better not have kids with me, because she doesn't want a grandchild without blue eyes. My sister's complaint was pretty much, "you better teach her, before she comes to the hood." IE my sister and alot of blacks that dont like the interacial mix is because it brings nothing but problems on the community. You can say it's not so, or other people can say how it wouldn't go like that. But me and my x couldn't even argue without "someone" calling the cops on me. And if she steped outside in my hood every eyeball within sight was watching her every move. Maybe it's area, but i know if i saw a white person on my block when i was growing up, either someone was going to jail, or getting evicted. little insight for ya. Black men only say they love you. of course i never heard these things, but thats what she was raised being told.

All other answers are futile and distorted due to perception. In reality - to answer your question, most people think that it's "wrong" to date outside your race. That's reality. However, we are grown and have to make our own decisions, feel me? Do what's right for us - self-interest principle here. I'm Half Korean/Half Black - therefore, I don't have a "specific" race to claim - so, that statement or perception is basically a technicality that people pull to cloud their prejudices. Yes, most people are prejudiced. They just won't admit it. It shouldn't matter to YOU who you date - as long as they TREAT you good. Well, here's another reality - be prepared to deal with life-long stereotypes and naysayers because it WILL happen. 13. Only stupid people just assume that 'all' black women get jealous when they see black men with white women. The same can be said about 'all' black men getting jealous when they see black women with white men (this happens a lot to me). It also happens to white people, because I have heard of cases where some white men get jealous of black men/ white women couples. One of my black girlfriends who has a white boyfriend has experienced a white girl throwing herself at her man, even while she (friend) was there, so yes some white women are guilty of this attitude. I think it just depends on the person. Jealousy is an individual flaw. Oh an Italian men are hott!! :-)
