Question for italian men?
I've started dating this italian guy. He's simply wonderful on all aspects!!! It's the first time I date a white guy and I'm pretty open minded but I'm just scared to start experiencing racial prejudice. I'm African and I was always told italians hated black people. Is that true? I've already met his mom and she's a sweetheart to me. It's just some of his relatives are not too cool with it, but he told them to butt out in my face, which I found admirable. I just get a lot of discouragement from some of my friends, blacks and italians. Even my sister dissaproves. I've already met his mom and she's a sweetheart to me. - It's going to be a physical relationship, whether you want it that way, or not. And there's a great chance that he sees you as a notch, for sure... But, Italians don't hate Black people. Ethnicity is clearly MORE IMPORTANT to YOU -- although you'd never admit it... it's obvious with the wording of your question. PS - if you were "always told" that Italians hate black people -- then you were raised in bigotry. You're playing, and he's playing... that's all you're doing.

- Nah, those are mostly just high school kids trying to be racists. I can tell you that because I live in North Italy.
