Do you cross the International Date Line to get to Turin, Italy from Moscow, Russia?

2. Only if you go east to about half way across the Pacific before turning back west while moving in a general southward direction. Or, as most would prefer, go east across European and Asia Russia then continue east around the entire world - that is across the Pacific, North America, the Atlantic and head for the Mediterranean, will you cross the International Date Line while going from Moscow Russia to Turin Italy. Using the first method, you would of course cross the International Date Line twice! Hope this answers your question.
