- There's a secret and it never fails, you really have to wish it. Select any language and try to contact a particular teacher or an academy for it. After that, enjoy yourself browsing any online free dictionary of the language and elaborate a list of the volabulary you consider more useful. Get some music aswell in the language, so you will enjoy it even more. I have follow this "program" many times, this made me able to speak Tagalog (the language in the Philippines) in 21 days, during my hollydays there..! And now, the same its working whith Chinese. Trust me, you'll surprise yourself! Source(s): ...By a French, Tagalog, Chinese(still on it),Greek,Latin,English and Spanish speaker ;)
- try the library they have lots of cds or books on tape to help you learn languages, it would be the best starting point
- I don't think that you can learn it over an online course or an online dictionary. I have taken three years of Italian and I have used the translators online. They don't always conjugate the verbs correctly or translate what you intend to say correctly. Not to mention the fact that your pronunciation will not be correct if you are only reading the material. It is important to also have someone evaluate your language to make sure you are speaking correctly. Think of it as if a child grows up learning language from parents who have a deep accent. They will mis-pronounce words until they are taught correctly. You can always take a course at a community college or look for an italian tutor. Neither of these is free though.
- the best way to learn italian is to first have friend or mate who are italian
